Announcements

The second part of the Kindness Project is happening now! Students and teachers nominate others for outstanding acts of kindness. Ask your teacher for a Kindness ballots or come get one at the front office Remember to write on the back and give details of the kind act. Once completed, ballots can be placed in the box at the front office for draws.

Clubs

Jam Club with Mr Bowes at lunch in his room.

Grade 6/7 boy’s social club will be in the library. Bring your lunch and ideas!

 

Roll to Breakfast

One more sleep until ‘Roll to Breakfast’ happening tomorrow at McKim! Let’s celebrate active school travel together by getting on our bikes, scooters, and skateboards…and eating PANCAKES!!

Friendly reminder that if you do not have a bike, scooter or skateboard with you at school tomorrow, we will do our best to provide one for you…OR you can walk through stations and cheer your classmates on. Please remember to bring your helmet. If it’s sunny, wear your sunscreen and stay hydrated, friends.

If you need to have your bike, scooter or skateboard dropped off tonight, Ms. Garratt will be here until 6pm.

Each year, as part of a continuous improvement cycle, Rocky Mountain School District develops an operational plan that outlines the goals and strategies that will be the focus of the work for the upcoming year. This plan is guided by the current 4-year strategic plan using a variety of student data as the foundation for decision making, schools develop school success plans that identifies targets for improving student learning.
