McKim Middle School is located on the traditional unceded territory of the Ktunaxa people and the chosen home of the Métis.
At McKim Middle School, we bring the mission of SD6 to life by engaging students and motivating them to reach their full potential; to be truly inspired to learn. Each student needs to find a sense of belonging and generosity so they can strive to find independence and mastery. Whether through academics, arts, athletics, or initiatives such as our school garden, students are challenged to apply their learning in various situations. McKim staff works diligently to establish a trusting, safe, and collaborative culture, essential to student success.
Working with parents and community partners, our highest priority is equity and inclusion for all students.
During the 2023-2024 school year, Mustangs will mount up, start a new journey, a challenging adventure and create unique stories to reach new heights.
