Dear parents and caregivers,

As you may have heard in the news, B.C. will follow the lead of the federal government and join with other provinces in observing the national day of mourning to commemorate the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. The British Columbia Ministry of Education and Child Care has announced that K-12 public schools will be closed for the federal holiday on Monday, September 19^th.
